Who is The Kansas Flamingo Chef?
My name is Bill Stout. Many know me as The Kansas Flamingo Chef.
I have spent most of my life in Wichita, Kansas.

I spent many years in the food and bar business.
I trained under numerous classically trained chefs.
I worked in many kitchens and restaurants.
I also spent many years as a bartender.

I grew up around a family of southerners who loved to cook, and were proud to pass on their knowledge, recipes, and techniques.

I have an addiction to collecting flamingos. There is a backstory, but it is rarely shared.

A few years ago, a friend of mine asked me to make a video showing how to make a specific dish. I obliged, and before what had happened, I had started a YouTube channel.
